It's a cheap laugh, but still funny when McCain promises to
"veto every beer" . Vetoing beer is a dangerous strategy. The only time I remember the Indiana populice ever getting riled up about anything involving politics and government was in the late 80s when there was a proposed change to the beer distribution laws. A shocking display of educated non-apathy from the voting public put the kibosh on it. So McCain should tread carefully.
And it's a nice touch to wield the veto pen at the end. Who pulled that before? Reagan? Dole? Looks familiar. Is McCain running against Bush now?

does a "beer with ear marks" look like?
Googling "beer with ears" one can find this link:

(just a guy drinking a beer with a hoodie... couldn't find an actual ear-marked beer)
Interesting that McCain vows to use a Black Sharpie when he vetoes bills.
Seriously, I recall someone else wielding a VETO PEN as a campaign gimic. Who was it? Maybe I'm making it up.
both Bush and Gore vowed to veto legislation in 2000 that would send nuclear waste to yucca mountain.
