Snapped four shots of a lovely moon out the back window last night just for kicks, shutter at 1/125th, 1/250th, 1/500th, and 1/800th. Impressively clear for a London night. The moon is never not cool.
About the same. There was no loss of detail I could see in the jpeg conversion. The image in the native resolution photos was small, my lens tops out at 200mm so clearly I need something like this, or a telescope with adapter for taking photographs.
