The Magic of Outsourcing

This article on the 787 delays and costs won't be terribly surprising for anyone in a technical profession with large-company experience, but well worth a read anyway.

  1. Makes sense - outsourcing to gain skills you need works well and outsourcing to save money doesn't.

    Place I used to work has run into this on a much smaller scale.
