More Trains On The Way
I'm disappointed by the estimated three more years until this is operational, but will be great to take a single high-speed rail line from London to Frankfurt. I'm also dreaming of a revival of sleeper service trains, having now enjoyed such to Edinburgh and Penzance. A proper sleeper service from London to, say, Zermatt, or Berlin. Now there's a dream.

Bia and I once did BR first class sleeper from E'burgh to London, which was awesome. We've also done third-class (essentially the "couchette", six-to-a-room service) from Paris to Berlin. That was great as long as we had the room to ourselves.... Since then, I've also done Amtrak's sleeper from DC to Chicago, which was surprisingly charming. The service was actually better than that on any of the others!
The amtrak accomodations look great.
I love sleeper trains... but the BF isn't as fond of them as I am.
Some great 1st class sleeper trains in India. If any of you get the chance. I would never do anything lower than 1st, in India. :)
