Accidentally left the stash of salami from the market where mice could get them. Evidence suggests mice love garlic salami and wild boar salami, but do not care for either duck salami or venison salami.
There's gotta be something in the mouse nose that they can detect minute differences in, that we olfactory impaired bipedal mammals cannot. Maybe, given enough time, they would have chowed down on the duck and venison as well.
I still remember biting into the milkyway candy bar in your HHS swim team decorated locker just outside the cafeteria, and THEN seeing the mouse teeth marks on the other end of the mini-candy bar once I got it out of the wrapper. MMMMMMMMM yummy!
duck or venison smoked... or otherwise heavily spiced?
ReplyDeleteYour surprise cat seems to not be doing his job....
They are not appreciably a different prep than the other two. And you're right -- the cat's been slacking, hasn't been wandering in lately.
